From first enquiry to proof of delivery, this is how Cedar Ridge Logistics works — so you always know what happens next.
Enquiry
You contact us by phone or form with the essentials: collection address, delivery address, timing needs, and a description of the load (including approximate size, weight guidance and any handling notes).
What you experience: A prompt, professional response. If we need more detail to quote accurately, we ask once and clearly — not in dribs and drabs.
Assessment & Quote
We assess distance, timing, vehicle fit, access considerations and urgency. You receive a transparent quote with key assumptions stated.
What you experience: A clear yes, a clear price, and any caveats upfront (for example waiting time, difficult access, or same-day feasibility). No pressure tactics.
Booking Confirmation
On your acceptance, we confirm the job: references, contacts at each end, collection window, delivery expectation and any site requirements (PPE, induction, booking-in).
What you experience: Written confirmation you can forward to colleagues or site teams. Everyone shares the same plan.
Collection
The driver arrives prepared, verifies the load against the brief, checks packaging condition, loads and secures carefully, and collects any paperwork or PODs required at origin.
What you experience: A professional collection with issues flagged immediately if packaging is inadequate or the load differs from what was booked.
In Transit Communication
We keep the movement focused and communicate proactively if ETAs change. For critical jobs, updates are part of the service, not an optional extra.
What you experience: You are not left wondering. If you need a status, you can get one from someone who knows the job.
Delivery & Close-Out
We deliver to the agreed point of contact, obtain proof of delivery, and confirm completion. Any exceptions are documented and raised without delay.
What you experience: Clean handover, POD available, and a service that feels finished — not abandoned at the gate.
